Certificate of Authenticity
A Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is a document that provides proof of the authenticity and origin of an artwork, print or collectable item. It is a valuable asset for artists, collectors and, buyers as it verifies the legitimacy and provenance of the piece.
At Print Art we offer 2 types of COA - a standard option and the Hahnemühle Hologram System. By offering these 2 types of COAs, Print Art ensures that our customers have options to choose from based on their preferences and requirements.
Hahnemühle COA & Hologram System
The Hahnemühle Certificate of Authenticity was designed to protect the security and genuineness of your limited edition art works and reproductions on Hahnemühle paper and to reduce the risk of forgery.
Each certificate is made of premium deckle edged mould made paper with a Hahnemühle watermark and fluorescent security fibres. A serialized numbered hologram is included. A second, identically numbered hologram is then applied to the reverse side of the artwork.
The combination of certificate and hologram assures that each Certificate of Authenticity relates to one particular piece of art. Text and layout of the certificate can be created individually.
Standard Certificate of Authenticity
We offer a standard version of the Certificate of Authenticity at Print Art. Our COA is designed to be customizable and can be tailored to meet your specific needs.
The certificates are printed on high-quality fine art paper, either the Felix Schoeller True Fiber 200gsm or True Rag Etching 310gsm, ensuring a profesional and durable result. You can choose between A4 or A5 size, depending on your preference.
Each certifricate is assigned a unique number, providing a distinct identitification for your artwork. Rest assured that all certificate details will be securly stored on file at Print Art, ensuring the intergirty and authenticy of your artwork.
